This highly successful team camp is beginning its 26th year of existence. This camp has numerous league and state champions from states such as Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. Teams from as far away as Illinois attend every year. We will start our 1st year at Western Oregon University and we are excited to be there. The facility is equipped with 7 floors. They have outstanding facilities and have a great college feel. We will also use Central High School which is right down the street. They have a great set of gyms also. Coaches will be paid $350.00 to coach their teams or that money can be applied to tuition of your players. The "Class of the Field" Tournament is played before this team camp and is a great way to start your week. You might also want to enter the EOT Shootout that is just after camp. You must contact Carl Tinsley (tins@ocbasketball.com) to get a spot in these tourneys. Check this web page under tourney info for details.

Team week is an intense week of practicing, drilling, scrimmaging and playing full court games. All of these drills and practice sessions involve a team aspect rather than individual practice. Each coach works solely with his/her own team. Each practice session is against another team practicing all aspects of the game: zone, man, OB plays, transition offense and defense, press and game situations. Although highly competitive, no score is kept during games or scrimmages. This allows coaches to use all players without fear of losing a game. One of the highlights of this camp is the camaraderie of the coaches and staff.

There is some free time during each day for a coach to build team spirit and unity. Coaches conservatively estimate that one week of team camp saves them three weeks of pre-season practice time.
