The End of the Trail Girl’s basketball camp (formally Oregon City Girl’s camp) will be holding it 31st

Annual Summer Basketball Camp on Monday, June 21-24 at Oregon City High and Tuesday, June
29-July 2 at Oregon City High School.

Each week has a different emphasis which consists of teaching the fundamentals of either offense or
defenseWeek 1 the emphasis is defensive fundamentals and ball handling.  Week 2’s emphasis is
on offensive moves and shooting, with the use of video tape review.

The camp stresses competitive games and contests that allow the players to put into practice what they have
been taught.  The last day is a basketball skill Olympics, where the players attempt to test their
skills during competitive drills.  There are  daily awards and prizes for the winners of these
competitions and all participants receive a camp t-shirt.

The camp has been sold out every year because of its focus on the improvement of the participant’s and the
enthusiasm it generates.  The camp draws players from all over Clackamas  county and the Portland area.  The
camp has been home to over 25 all state players and 8 high school All Americans.

The camps will run from 8:30 - 11:30 for girls 3rd-6th grades and 1:00 - 5:00 for girls 7th - 9th grades.
Limited enrollment allows for all instruction, drills, and games to conducted on  a 5 to 1 ratio. We limit the camp to

100 participants.

The camp director is retired Oregon City coach Brad Smith.  He has been a 3 time USA Today and WBCA
National coach of the year. His teams have won 3 National championships, 10 state championships, and 23
league titles.  If you need any more information on camps, clinic or tournaments go to our website
